Yes. As a tourist, your foreign driver’s licence is valid for up to 90 days. Bring your passport and licence to the handover.
Do you deliver to the airport?
Yes — to El Salvador International Airport (SAL) at no extra charge, and we collect the car there at the end of your trip. Give us your flight number and we follow your arrival, so a delay does not cost you the booking.

Do I need a 4x4?
Not for most trips — the coastal highway to El Tunco and the roads to the main towns are paved. A 4x4 pickup or SUV is worth it for dirt roads, beach access and mountain routes like Cerro Verde or El Pital.
Can I take the car out of El Salvador?
Not without prior written authorisation from Lubbi. If your trip crosses a border, ask us on WhatsApp before you book.
